About Darrin
From medication to meditation: the fifteen year journey behind the coaching.
My story
At what appeared to be the highest point of external success, selling a company, raising three children, and living what looked like an ideal life, there was still anxiety, overthinking, stress, and internal unhappiness.
A simple statement from a neighbor, "You better check yourself spiritually," became the catalyst for deep personal transformation.
That led to a fifteen year personal journey: Transcendental Meditation, Eckhart Tolle's teachings, Reiki, personal development work, and Joe Dispenza retreats.
Then a neurosurgeon told me I needed back surgery. Instead of moving forward with surgery, I read Joe Dispenza's book Becoming Supernatural and attended a retreat. That experience changed everything. In the end, no surgery was needed. It became one of the most powerful examples in my life of how mindset, belief, awareness, and personal transformation can create profound change.
The personal transformation can best be summarized as: From Medication to Meditation.
What I believe
- Everything is neutral until we assign meaning.
- Awareness creates change.
- You are not the voice in your head.
- Healing begins by exploring and discovering the why behind behaviors.
- Inner peace does not have to depend on external success.
- Emotional states shape perception and decision making.
My role
My role is not to become another spiritual teacher. My role is to help beginners understand these teachings in a practical, relatable way. After more than fifteen years of studying, practicing meditation, attending retreats, and experiencing my own personal transformation, I believe my greatest value comes from helping others bridge the gap between feeling overwhelmed and truly understanding the material.
What makes this different
This coaching model is based on lived experience rather than theory alone. It combines practical mindset interruption tools, beginner friendly spiritual teachings, real life transformation stories, meditation and awareness practices, emotional reframing and self discovery exercises, and a grounded, relatable approach to spirituality and personal growth.
